- Hello all, I am interested in this group, for I want to improve my vocabulary, since I have a passion for poetry, and since I cannot take Latin at the U of M, being that it is only offered during the day.
- How many hours per week do you expect to devote to learning Latin?

I would invested at least an hour a day, at first, basically memorizing the prefixes and roots of words. Once I get a good grip on those, I would pursue the grammer of the language as it handles ablative, genitive, etc forms.
- Do you consider yourself a beginning, intermediate, or advanced Latin student?
